How To Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone E1451425107124 1

Outside Your Comfort Zone

How often do you do things that are out of your comfort zone? How challenging is it for you to try something new? Are you able to listen to the Holy Spirit?

Have you thought about how perhaps God could work through you? Each of us has gifts that God is wanting to use, and at times we are restricted by fear. Can God really use me? Can I really try something new?

Mission has always been a part of my life. I have found myself needing it more and more. I have found when I pour out myself to others, I begin to experience the joy of God. I found this out early, and has been constant in my life. I have experience Mission Trips with my wife, my father, and my best friend. Being able to share these trips with them has only strengthened and created memories for a lifetime. Perhaps it is time for you to experience a mission opportunity. Don’t let the lack of experience or age be hinderance to you stepping out of our comfort experience.

We hope over the next year or so to have plenty of Mission opportunities for you and your family. Currently we go to Micah’s Ministry on third Monday of each month. We meet at 4:15 at church and return around 7:45. Micah’s feeds about 600 homeless folks. There is a variety of jobs within this opportunity.

It is always our hope that within each mission opportunity that we as a congregation become better connected though shared experience. We also hope that your faith is greatly impacted by being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Perhaps God is calling you to step out of your comfort zone. I am confident that God can you use your gifts to make a difference in the name of Jesus. It really just takes that first step, and trusting that God has a plan for you to make a difference.

May God give you courage and passion for mission!
